Decorative view of London by Thomas Bowles, first published in 1751 and revised thereafter.

Fascinating bird's-eye view taken from a point which today would be several hundred feet above Tower Bridge. The viewer looks up river to the east, to the right are the city churches, including St. Paul's, the Monument to the fire of London, and in the distance Westminster Abbey.
