Includes a striking pictorial map of the route across Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona to California, in the signature style of Ruth Taylor White.
At the top bottom is a photograph of one of the planes flying the route. A second pictorial map of the United States illustrates the outer covers
The images on the inner pages includes an image of an early sea-plane in front of the Catalina Casino and an image of beverage service during the flight, served by the co-pilot (referred to in the text below the image as the Pilot Mate).
