Description
Extremely rare map of Catalonia, published in Paris by Michel Van Lochem.
The map is finely engraved, illustrating topographical features, towns, islands, etc.
Includes a decorative coat of arms.
There is also a later edition of this map by Mariette. It would appear an earlier state of the map exists, as erasures can be seen under the 4th line in the cartouche, to the left of the word Par.
