Scarce map of part of the Arctic Regions, showing the extent of the Arctic Explorations of Capts. Ross, Parry, & Franklin from 1818 to 1827.

Includes the various explorer's routes and significant discoveries. Includes 5 engravings of coastal views, including Baffin Bay, Burnet's Inlet, Coppermine River, and the south side of Scoresby's Sound. Alaska is Russian Settlements and the coastline is still quite inaccurate and conjectural. Includes notes on the MacKenzie's discoveries and the point reached by the Blossom Boat.

Many of the early Hudson Bay Trading Houses are noted.

One of the best reasonably obtainable map depicting most current arctic explorations in prior to 1830.
