Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Fine large format topographical map of Lake Tahoe, published by E. R. Smith & Company.

On the verso of the map is fine detail showing the roads and businesses around the lake and a description of Lake Tahoe.

First issued in 1947, this version provides "The Story of the Amazing Lake Tahoe" on the verso, with statistical information up to 1956 and a reference to the award of the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley, hence our dating of the map at 1957.

One of the best obtainable large format and decorative maps of the lake.
