Description

Large, attractively hand-colored engraved map of Ireland. The map precedes the infamous potato famine by five years; the blight reached Ireland in 1845 and continued until 1852.

The map illustrates a variety of roads, rivers, and canals, as well as the principle cities and towns. The map also includes a scale in Irish Miles and another in English Miles.

Condition Description
Publisher's hand-color. Folded in quarters, as issued. Glue stain around central vertical fold from the middle to the bottom of the sheet.
