Rare early Railroad map, published in New York by Bien & Sterner.
The detail of the railroads in Texas are of particular note, with the following shown:
- Galveston, Houston & Red River Railroad
- Texas Pacific Railroad
- Galveston Houston & Henderson R.R.
- Boliver Pt. & Henderson R. Road
The map is rare on the market. We note only a single example offered for sale (in poor condition) in the past 40 years.
Condition Description
Archivally backed. A few minor tears and fold splits, expertly repaired on verso.
