Description

Pictorial map of the United States designed for the 1935 Scout Jamboree, the 25th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.

Jubilee National Jamboree was scheduled for August 21 - 30, in Washington, DC. The Jamboree was canceled because of an outbreak of polio and was rescheduled and held in the summer of 1937.

The map shows Boy Scouts in various activities, along with roads, railroads and mode of transportation. It also includes views on the left and right panels, notes and a decorative compass rose on the lower right corner.

Condition Description
Two repaired tears in left margin, one extending into the printed image and one repaired tear on the left side.
