Scarce map of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), issued in December 1964 by the US Army Map Service.

The map text is in 3 languages (English, French & Vietnamese) and provides a highly detailed look at Saigon. The text includes a list of maps used to compile the map (including maps from the 1950s and early 1960s and a French survey dating back to 1922-23.

The text includes a Glossary of terms in 3 languages.

The map was issued shortly after the Gulf of Tonkin Incident and Gulf of Tonkin Resolution in 1964, marking commencement of all out war by the United States against North Vietnam.
