"Drawn In Broken English By Jolly Lindgren," this comic pictorial map is full of puns and comic vignettes related to the State of Washinngton..
The Lindgren Brothers issued a number of other silly whimsical maps of national parks and other parts of the West.
The map is undated, but we assume the reference to the Winter of 1948 gives some reference to the year of publication and would be one of the latest maps attributable to Jolly Lingren.
Our research also notes the existence of an 1946 map entitled An Hysterical Map of Washington State College, which we have never seen.
The map is apparently unrecorded.
