Finely executed illustration of the central part of Chicago, drawn by Charles Graham for Harpers Weekly.
A view from atop what was the tallest building in the city at the time. Looks south over the heart of the downtown, with the buildings of the World Fair being silhouetted on the southern horizon, near the Lake.
A beautiful multi-fold birds eye done by Charles Graham that give architectural detail, as well as a progressive feel for the town.
