Shows location of proposed Rock Creek Reservoir and national park. Oriented with north to the upper left. Includes illustrations of front and cross sections of proposed dam. Shows built-up areas within the city of Washington and property owner names in surrounding suburbs.

With Washington D.C. at the center, the map covers an area ten miles by ten miles. Subtitled "Increasing Water Supply of Washington", it meticulously details roads, farms, waterways and names of landowners.

The Rock Creek Reservoir was never built. An elevation plan below shows the proposed dam plus three design sections.
