Description

Fine railroad promotional map, stretching from Denver, Ft. Collins and Cheyene in the west to the Missouri River.

Scarce promotional booklet for lands being opened up by the Burlington Route of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company. Title of pamphlet is:

A brief description of the new lands now being opened up together with a sectional map of Nebraska and eastern Colorado showing towns and railway lines completed and in course of construction on April Ist, 1887.

There are small maps on the inside of the front wrapper and on the rear wrapper.

The map and pamphlet are extremely rare. We note the last example on the market at auction or in a dealer catalog was the TN Luther Books Copy in 1975 and before that in a Cedric Robinson catalog in 1959.
