Decorative double hemisphere map of the world, pre-dating Cook's Voyages.

The map hints at, but does not show, the Bay of the West. East coast of New Zealand is shown, as is the West Coast of Australia. The NW Coast of America is based upon French conceptions of the region, based upon J.N. De L'Isle's reports from St. Petersburg.
