Description

Rare separately issued map of Los Angeles, which includes the lands annexed up to the election of November 12, 1906, a reference to what would become the "Balloon Route."

The map provides a detailed grid of the city, along with advertising for Beverly Hills, "The Finest Residence Suburb of Los Angeles", and other promotional advertising. Includes a nice illustration of The Maxwell Double Opposed Motor in Front Under Hood Shaft Drive, with 3 models, varying in price from $900 to $3,300.

The map is rare. We find no examples in OCLC.
