Description

Rare early plan of Louisville, which was published with the Louisville Street Guide of 1888, published by W.F. Brewer.

The map extends from the Louisville Jockey Club, Mile Track and Fair Grounds in the south to Jeffersonville and New Albany to the north of the Ohio River.

The map provides a highly detailed plan of the city, showing rail lines, ferrys, subdivisions, public buildings, parks, and a host of other details, including the names of a number of major property owners.

The map is quite scarce, this being the first example we have ever seen on the market.
