Description
Later copy of a rare Rand McNally & Company map of the Mining Regions of the Pacific Northwest, although extending to Southwestern Colorado and the mining regions of California.
The focal point of the map is the Baker City MIning Region, which is shown in a large inset at the top, showing the mining boom in the area of Baker City, Oregon.
A large table shows the "Mines of the New Bonanzaland", including the Kootenay Region and Baker City.
Remarkable detail. The original is recorded in a single example at the Huntington Library and may be a different map, as the size is different.
Condition Description
Occasional fold splits, point loss and minor marginal tears.
