Scarce map covering the region from St. Louis to Colorado, Utah and Arizona, published to promote the routes of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.
At the top of the map is a panorama view of the route across the Plains, from Pikes Peak to the Mississippi River.
The map shows the routes of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, along with other important routes, including the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, and the Union Pacific.
A number of Western roads are also located, including a road labled Toll Road, extending through the northern parts of New Mexico. Many Western Forts are also located.
