Description

One of the earliest obtainable maps of Ireland published in England.

The map is oriented with West at the top and includes a fantastic compass rose.

The present example has no text on the verso, making it either the second or third state of the map.  The states of the map are identified as follows:

  • 1607:  Text on verso
  • 1610:  No text on verso
  • 1637:  No text on verso
Condition Description
Printer's crease near old centerfold, which has been flattened.
