Rare chart of the Indian Ocean, Australia and the East Coast of Asia, published in Paris in 1803.
The map shows a still incomplete coastline for Australia and New Guinea, among other features.
The map credits Jean Baptiste Poirson as its maker and Tardieu as engraver.
We were able to locate only the copy in the National Library of Australia.
