This sea chart shows a an extremely detailed treatment of Menorca, oriented with South at the top. The map shows anchorages, soundings, roads, rivers and topographical details, some of which are greatly exaggerated.
The atlas was first published by Johannes van Keulen (1654-1715) and later continued by his son Gerard with the cooperation of the mathematician and surveyor, Claes Jansz. Voogt.
