Description
Scarce 2-sheet plan of Warsaw, focusing on the town fortifications.
The map was almost certainly prepare for military purposes, and shows the positions of a number of troops and batteries at the top right, including th Prussian Troops and the 4th Battalion of Kiev.
The map was apparently first printed in 1796 by J.J. Pistor, based upon an anonymous manuscript.
Condition Description
Evidence of old folds. Irregular margins.
