Description

Curious map of the Pacific Ocean, which has been annotated to show travels in the South Pacific.

The map indicates that it is a photolithographic copy of an Admiralty Map, printed in Wellington, New Zealand in 1884. The map shows several features, including the Northern Limits of Ice Bergs seen during the Austral Summer months.

The redlining and pencil notes show a tracks of an ocean voyage that including Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, China, Japan, Hawaii and the Society Islands.
