Description
Very rare separately issued chart of the Baltic Sea and North Sea, published by Willmer & Rogers.
The present map is curious production, as Willmer & Rogers were not map sellers (listing themselves as Importers of Foreign Books & News Papers).
As note by Rumsey:
Unknown maker, probably copied from a British chart. The question that comes to mind about this map is why was it published?
In fact, Rumsey was absolutely correct. The chart is drawn from similarly titled map by George Philip, published circa 1850 in London, although the title and borders have been redone, suggesting some sort of collaboration.

Original green covers, somewhat paint stained. Minor dampstaining and several tears, repaired on verso.
