Description
Fine early map of Jones County, Texas, naming a number of early land owners, roads, and other details.
The map is one of the earliest printed maps of Jones County, and was apparently distributed by both the Yates Abstract Co., Jones County Abstract Co. and the Panhandle Absract Co., as the Library of Congress copy includes credits on the cover and in the map to the Panhandle Abstract Co. and the Hardin-Simmons copy was issued compliments of the Jones County Abstract Co.
Only 2 other recorded examples, as noted above, both being variant editions.
