Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Fantastic early birdseye view map of Miami and Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach and Coral Gables, illustrating this early edition of Greater Miami In and Out Guide.

Issued during World War II, it includes section noting the War Time Accomodations in Greater Miami.

This example is annotated by a soldier stationed in Miami. The annotation note the Coast Guarge Stattion, Piers 1, 2 and 3 (now Navy Piers), "My First Barracks," Excursion Yachts, etc., "Where I Go To School," and the Chow Hall. The map is surrounded by an index, which includes information about Greater Miami on both sides of the map.

A fantastic early map--the first example we hae ever seen.
