Important early map of Utah and the last cartographic production of David Burr, who produced a number of important early maps, including the first Postal Atlas and an important early map of Texas.

The map provides a detailed survey of the country and settlements around the eastern half of the Great Salt Lake.

includes Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo, etc. The map was prepared under the direction of David Burr, as surveyor general of Utah, his final official map making employment..
