Rare separately issued land promotional map, promoting a New York City development call "Along The Hudson Park."
The main map covers an area from the Hudson River to Spuyten Duyvil Parkway. The smaller area map shows the location of Along the Hudson Park within The Bronx. The Hudson River is on the left, the Harlem River Ship Canal is on the bottom, and the Broadway Subway Trolley is on the right.
Based upon newspaper reports in the New York Times, the Along The Hudson Company was active selling homes in this subdivision in the Summer of 1909. Unlike most subdivision maps, the present example includes 3 separate elevations of the different styles of homes available to purchasers. The general map shows the location of the development on the Hudson, near the foot of the Henry Hudson Memorial Bridge and includes several train line and neighboring subway stations, etc.
