Description
Scarce sea chart of the Baltic Sea, embellished by a decorative cartouche, two saling ships and compass rose.
Originally issued by De Wit, Renard published this map from 1715 to 1739, after which time it was published by Ottens. The Renard edition of the map is quite scarce, with only one example appearing in the Antique Map Price Record (1984-2008) (Kunstantikvariat Pama AS-2003, $2381.00).
