Description

Highly detailed chart of the Southern Alaskan Coastline centered on Juneau and Kuprianoff Island, based upon Vancouver's survey, as updating by Russian Surveys in 1853 and later American Surveys in 1902.

The map extends from the Glacier Bay Region (Ice Flows illustrated) to south of Ketchikan, near Dixon Entrance and Cordova Strait. Includes a Commercial staioners stamp (White & Bindon Ltd) above title. Includes insets of Dixon Entrance to Port Tongrass as mapped by the U.S.G.S., 1893 and Point Hightfield Anchorage as mapped by U.S.G.S. 1886.

Condition Description
Lighthouses colored. Dimensions are for map at widest point. Discoloration in image is from mylar during photographing process and not present in the map.
