Rare Italian edition of this interesting map of Texas, the Southwest, Upper California and Mexico. Italian nomenclature throughout.

Extends from the Harbor of Sir Francis Drake (San Francisco) and the Farallones to New Orleans in the North and to Guatimala, Vera Cruz and Yucatan in the South. The Channel Islands are named in Caifornia. Nice detail north of the Rio of the Apostiles (Gila River) and along the North River of New Mexico or Rio Bravo (Rio Grande). Much of Texas is label Great Space of Land Unknown. Tecas is named, and includes some early Spanish Settlements and Rives, alont iwht Bahi de St. Bernard and details of La Salle's Settlement in 1685.
