Scarce promotional map for the Silver Strand, promoting a new development in Oxnard, California.
The Sales Manager listed on the map, Wm. Lingenbrink, would go on to a very successful career as a developer in the San Fernando Valley. We have assumed that his being listed as Sales Manager suggests that the map pre-dates his servicing as developer
The map includes an early owner 's (developer's ?) notes regarding the prices of the lots and available financing terms. A marvelous bit of early Southern California ephemera.
