Description

Scarce plan of the Southeastern United States, from Le Boucher's Histoire de la Derniere Guerre, entre La Grande-Bretagne, et les Etas-Unis de l'Amerique, published in Paris in 1787.

The map provides a nice treatment of the region from the Chespeake to Georgia, drawn from official French sources, most notably, the very rare Sheet #2 of the Neptune Americao-Septentrional. The separate map is rare on the market, this being the first example we have seen in the past 15 years.
