Highly detailed map of North America, issued shortly after the release of the official account of Lewis & Clark's expedition to the Pacific Ocean.\

The map seems to reflect a significant knowledge of the expedition and its discoveries. A number of Indian Tribes are named. One of the mythical rivers flowing from the 2 Salt Lakes to San Francisco is still shown in a speculative fashion.

Nice detail along the NW Coast of America. Massive Louisiana Territory, but a decidely pro-English treatment of what would become Oregon Territory.
