Description

Rare large birdseye view of Fairhaven, drawn by B.W. Pierce and engraved in San Francisco.

One of the earliest obtainable images of Fairhaven, prepared for promotional purposes by the Fairhaven Land Company.

Fairhaven, Washington (or the Fairhaven Village) was founded in the late 1880s and is now part of the City of Bellingham, Washington. Fairhaven is located on the south side of Bellingham, and borders Bellingham Bay on the west and Western Washington University on the northeast.

The view is extremely rare. The only example we could locate is in the Bellingham Public Library.
