Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Fine unfolded example of this highly detailed topographical map of the region bounded by Owens Lake in the Northwest, Borax Flat in the southwest and Pyramid Peak in the Norhwest, centered on Death Valley and Panamint Valley.

The Caliente and Panamint Stage Route is shown, as is the route of Lieut. Bendere in 1867 and Wheeler's route in 1871. The San Bernardino Freight Route, Lieut. Lyle's Route and several other early roads are noted. Dozens of settlements and other minor details noted. The best regional map of the period.
