Original vintage poster issued for Santa Barbara's Old Spanish Days festival in the summer of 1957.
The first Old Spanish Days historical parade took place in Santa Barbara in 1924, and the events continue to this day. The present poster is one of the emblematic images of the celebration, as it was repeated in different variations for several years, seemingly throughout the 1960s.
Rarity
These Old Spanish Days posters are scarce on the market.
We have handled several from the 1960s, but this is the first from the 1950s.
