Rare 1970s real estate map of Malibu, California, a city for which interesting vintage maps can seldom be found.
The map can be dated to the period 1971–1974, as the map shows Pepperdine’s Malibu campus, which saw development starting in 1971 following significant tensions with its South Los Angeles campus. The map does not, however, show Kanan Dume Road, the major artery connecting Malibu to the 101 that was completed in 1974.
