A rare set of six remarkable 21 inch-wide post cards, published by C.C. Lord & Co. of Long Beach, California. These unusual sepia-tone views have "Post Card" address lines provided on the verso, with special instructions for mailing: "Roll, Wrap in Paper, Tuck in Ends and Tie." Date based on images (clothing styles, early automobiles) and text which cites 1900 census data.

6 oblong card sheets. Halftone panoramic photographic images on one side of each card, with text on verso. Center fold on each card. Some moderate wear to cards, dust soiling (mainly on text side), but generally clean and nice.
