Description
Interesting maps of the Western and Eastern Hemispheres by Greenleaf, two of 4 hemispheric map projections in his New Universal Atlas.
The Western Hemisphere shows a nice depiction of North America, New Zealand and the Pacific Ocean. A massive unnamed San Francisco Bay is considerably out ot scale, but a fascinating anomally.
The Eastern Hemisphere provides a nice depiction of the evolving shape of the Australian continent (still called New Holland) and the lack of knowledge in the South Polar regions.
