Description
This 1794 map of the Caribbean was created by the British cartographer John Russell. It offers a comprehensive depiction of the West Indies, including the Caribbean Islands, the Gulf of Mexico, and the neighboring coastal regions of North and South America. The map details geographic features such as the Bahama Islands, the Florida Strait, the Bay of Honduras, and the northern coastlines of South America, covering areas that are now part of Venezuela and Colombia.
