If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

This comprehensive map provides a detailed representation of the Roman countryside, depicting both its ancient and modern states. Published in 1852 by Luigi Piale, the map is finely engraved and offers a detailed depiction of the region's topography, including mountains, rivers, and various landmarks. The map's dedication to the Right Honourable George John Warren Lord Vernon, a notable member of the Accademia degli Arcadi at Rome, is prominently displayed along the bottom.

Condition Description

Engraving on 19th-century wove paper, dissected and mounted on linen. Original paper case.
