Description
This map of Brazil, engraved and published by J. Luffman in 1801, is a detailed depiction of the country's northeastern coastline and its administrative divisions at the time. The map shows the regions and major cities along the coast, with the inland areas marked by rivers and mountainous terrains. The map includes a key referencing the different captaincies, such as Para, Maragnan, Siara, Rio Grande, Paraba, and others. The map is titled "Brazil" and appears in Volume II of Luffman's Select Plans.
