Detailed map map of the Southeastern US, from a scarce edition of Hardesty's Atlas. The map is colored by counties and showing towns, railroads, rivers, forts, roads, etc. Large inset of Southern Florida. An updated version of the map issued by J. David Williams as part of a series of maps which had earlier begun with the Rogers & Johnston Atlas of the United States and which were later published in the US by Williams and Hardesty. The later example of a fascinating UK-US publication cooperative, making it an interesting map for collectors who seek to expand their American published map collections.
