Description
This vibrant and detailed 1959 pictorial map of Wales is filled with colorful illustrations representing various historical, cultural, and geographical features of the country. The map includes key landmarks, towns, and scenic routes, depicted with charming and whimsical drawings. The border features the coats of arms of various Welsh counties, and the top center prominently displays the Welsh dragon, a national symbol of Wales.
Designed by Frederick Griffin, published by the British Travel and Holidays Association in cooperation with the Welsh Tourist Board, and printed by James Upton Limited, Birmingham.
