Description
This topographic map of Central Owens Valley, California, published in 1950, displays the region's physical features with a contour interval of 100 feet. The map, derived from geological survey maps surveyed between 1905 and 1911, uses polyconic projection. The map includes detailed representations of Bishop towards the top, numerous other towns, mountain ranges, valleys, and hydrological features such as rivers and streams. Roads and other man-made features are also depicted.
