Rare miniature map of North America, showing California and Island. N. Anglia, N. Suecia, N. Hollandia, Bermuda, Virginia, Pomeiok, S. Augustin, Florida, N. Mexico and Santa Fe are also named, along with the Apalaty Mountains. A very inaccurate rendition of the Great Lakes is shown. The Rio Del Norte (Rio Grande) flows into the Gulf of California. The Straits of Anian are also shown. The map comes from the exceedingly rare Frankfurt edition of Muller's Atlas. MacLauglin 108. Minor soiling, but in all a nice example.
