Description

Vintage tourist brochure of Maui in the Territory of Hawaii in striking blue tones, published shortly before the attack at Pearl Harbor. The Hawaii Tourist Bureau, credited as the creators of the brochure, became the Hawaii Travel Bureau in 1944 and then the Hawaii Visitors Bureau in 1945.

Many sites are mapped, including the Largest Banyan Tree in Lahaina, the Hale O Piʻilani and Haleki'i-Pihana Heiaus, Hawaii National Park (now Haleakalā National Park), and the Hawaiian village at Kahakuloa.
