Very rare full publisher's hand-color example of the 1814 edition of Mathew Carey's map of Vermont.
The map is colored by counties and locates early roads, towns, townships, rivers, mountains etc. Dartmouth College is shown.
Condition Description
Engraving on 18th-century laid paper. Full original publisher's hand-coloring. Minor pencil marks and dark toning in blank borders, not affecting the map image.
