Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Lithographic map showing the completed and projected parts of the Pan-American Highway issued by the Pan-American Union in 1942, the 450th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of America. A portrait of Christopher Columbus is in the upper right, after an engraving by Theodor de Bry that served as a frontispiece for his fifth volume of America. The section over the Darien Gap is demarcated as "projected".

Condition Description

Folding map tipped onto p. 15 of 16 pp. booklet. Some soiling on recto and verso of booklet covers, not affecting map (map in VG+ condition).
